  • Abstract
Seismic response analysis was carried out on connector joining two huge inclined towers of science museum in Kelamayi using time-history method. Dynamic properties and structural deformation of the connector in different ways of connection was discussed, and story acceleration reaction under rare earthquake was also analyzed. The results show that laminated rubber bearings with suitable stiffness can decrease the dynamic response effectively, and acceleration reaction is also reduced greatly.
