Abstract :
Low-carbon economy study has become the hot spot as the world environment question is more and more serious. Construction industry is one of the pillar industries and has a significant impact on the environment in China. It consumes large resources every year and must be changed to adapt the low-carbon development request. Construction stage is materialized phase and closely related with success or failure of low-carbon development for the construction industry. According to the construction status in China, the existing problems is probed in construction philosophy, material characters, theory study, management level, evaluation system and government regulation. Furthermore, some countermeasures are suggested on how to implement low-carbon construction.
