Message from general chairs

It is our pleasure to say a few words about the International conference on Recent Trends in Information Systems, ReTIS-11, to be held during December 21–23, 2011 at Jadavpur University. It may be mentioned that this is the 3rd ReTIS conference being organized in this University. The first and second ones were held in 2006 and 2008 respectively, as National Conference. ReTIS-11 is organized jointly by the Computer Chapter of the Calcutta Section of IEEE i.e., the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) Affinity Group of the IEEE Calcutta Section, IEEE Calcutta Section, the Centre for Microprocessor Applications and Multimedia project of the Computer Science & Engineering Department of Jadavpur University and Computer Jagat - a monthly Bengali magazine.
