Abstract :
The processing of multidatabase transactions requires not only a powerful non procedural user language to express a query on several databases but also the possibility to specify the execution control of such queries. This paper shows how transaction control can be added to MSQL queries. A minimal set of language primitives is combined with the VPL (Vienna Parallel logic) language so that the dynamic formulation of MSQL queries with explicit control specification is supported
