Abstract :
Sine function is used to simulate the roughness of the bridge, using ANSYS FEM program for calculation and analysis of vehicle loads at different velocities and the vibration response of the bridge. Sine function is used to simulate the roughness of the bridge to calculate the impact coefficient and the theoretical value is close to the measured one, which shows that it is feasible to use the sine function to simulate the fluctuations of the roughness in newly-built bridges.
