Abstract
A four-frequency process for measuring the intrinsic coupling and the two resonator frequencies of a coupled-dual resonator coaxial cavity filter is developed using a two-node, inductive-Pi type equivalent circuit. This process is used to develop a novel procedure for determining a plot of intrinsic coupling versus aperture size between adjacent resonators. Such a plot dramatically simplifies the design, realization, and tuning of high order coaxial cavity filters
