Abstract :
For testing electrical components the test voltage has to achieve special requirements. Tests showed that it´s not possible to fulfill these requirements using a semiconductor based frequency converter with a conventional static pulse pattern. This paper deals with the development of an appropriate closed loop control unit and its implementation on a digital signal processor (DSP). The focus is on the synthesis of the control, and the transfer to a digital and time-discrete system for the DSP as well as the obtained results after the application in a frequency converter with semiconductor valves.
