Abstract :
An adaptive control scheme is presented with controller prescheduling using generalized sampled-data hold functions (GSHF). In this scheme, a set of GSHF controllers corresponding to a finite number of points chosen appropriately in the unknown parameter space is designed offline, and on real-time implementation the controller is updated in a table-lookup fashion based upon the parameter estimates. A gain margin problem is discussed, and an example is given to illustrate how the proposed method can be used to improve the stability robustness of the system.<>
