Abstract :
A macro-bending loss model of arbitrary-bending mono-mode fiber is proposed in this paper. It can be used for analyzing of both macro-bending loss of arbitrary-bending mono-mode fiber and the macro-bending loss of the even pure bending mono-mode fiber. In the case of the elliptical shape, a numerical example is given and the change rule of loss with the variety of elliptical structure and transmission wavelength is obtained.
