Abstract :
This paper addresses the topic of reducing adjacent channel interference in wireless personal communication systems by applying filtering at both the transmitter and receiver ends of a communications link. Results compiled using a simulation program written in MATLAB, show that different combinations of transmitter and receiver filters can be used to improve the signal to interference ratio (SIR) in a communications system
