Abstract :
This paper tends to explore the issues relevant to contractor´s claims opportunity identification. According to the condition of construction in FIDIC 1999, a process control-based model is presented in which the claims risk analysis, contract state analysis, event analysis, schedule analysis and cost analysis were combined in conjunction with the system of identifying claim opportunities at contract signing stage, construction stage and completion stage. The model is useful to improve the efficiency of contractor´s claim disposal, and keep contractor from missing the best timing of claim.
