Abstract :
In this paper, putting red mud into granulated blast furnace slag and minor clinker system to make special cementitious materials used in high performance concrete was studied. Effect factors of the cementitious materials compressive strength were analyzed by signal and orthogonal experimental design. The signal experimental showed: in the slag cenmentitious materials the optimum proportioning of Red mud, Gypsums, and Clinkers separately was 0.06, 0.08, and 0.15. Based on the orthogonal test results, the optimal condition for special cementitious materials was 7% Red mud, 10% Gypsums, 10% Clinkers, 73% Slag. The performance of raw materials and the microstructure of the harden samples were researched by XRD and SEM means. Also the reaction mechanism was analyzed to research the high intensity mechanism.
