Abstract :
The particular noise in MRI is not only lower the quality of image but also making de-noising more difficultly. The multiwavelet with the orthogonality and symmetry decomposes the image more precisely and denoise better than wavelet. After decomposing the image using multiwavelet, A method combining threshold-selecting function with semi-soft thresholding is proposed to reduce the noise in MRI. The simulation results shows that the method is superior to others.
