Abstract :
The authors measure the variation of the photothreshold energy for electron emission from the surface of mica specimens having different surface conduction properties. The photoelectric current in the surface of these specimens was also measured. Based on measurement results, we discuss how the surface states in the energy range from 5.0 to 5.8 eV influence the photoelectron emission and photoconduction properties of a mica surface
