Abstract
Describes additions to the object-oriented RISE system to allow high level simulation of autonomous units. The authors are attempting to use case-based reasoning as a basis for simulating the intelligent behavior of military units. They present details of the mechanism and argue that the key to its success is the proper balance of high level planning code, and efficient primitive behaviors
