            Abstract :
A switching power converter has prominent features of small size, light weight, and high efficiency. On the other hand, it has inherently a defect of surge generation due to switching process, and especially, the common-mode noise related to the ground plane is difficult to suppress. Concerning this electromagnetic interference (EMI), a lot of discussions have been recently reported. This paper presents a measurement system, propagation mechanism, and suppression techniques of the common-mode noise in the high-frequency switching power converters
