Abstract :
Transit oriented transportation development strategy has been widely used, its basic idea is the mechanism of the interaction between land use and bus system. However, there is only a few quantitative studies over this mechanism. Herein through the research of traffic demand generation process, we have studied the interaction mechanism between land use and bus system, and then established a mathematical model to illustrate the requisite for the steady operation of the public transit system.
