  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the development of network engineering major and the construction of Internet of Things engineering major in Hubei University of Technology. This paper then analyzes current situation of transition from network engineering major to Internet of Things engineering major, and demonstrates design and practice of hardware curriculum group for major transition. Finally, this paper discusses the innovation of teaching methods for hardware curriculum group. We introduce internationally advanced engineering education thinking of Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate, push the dual-tutor system based on joint training of university and corporation, and enhance community practice, all of which improve the teaching effect obviously.
