Abstract
It is shown that under certain conditions a nonlinear mapping can be obtained that transforms a given class of nonlinear discrete-time dynamic systems into the so-called nonlinear controller form by means of Lie algebraic methods. The usefulness of the approach is demonstrated with an example. The work is presented with minimal exotic mathematical notation to ease its readability.<>
