Abstract :
One of the main drawbacks of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the OFDM signal. In this paper, a optimum combination method based on partial transmit sequences is presented for MIMO-OFDM Peak-to-Average Power Ratio reduction. Firstly, PAPR is reduced by optimization of weighting coefficients. Then PAPR is reduced by selection of optimized data segmentation method. Simulation results have shown that optimum combination of partial transmit sequences (PTS) can obviously improve PAPR performance in the MIMO-OFDM.
