Abstract :
With the rapid advancement of computer multimedia technology and network technology, distance education becomes an open complex giant system including users, educational resources, technology support system, network environment, and online media. Distance education system meta-synthesizes human intelligence, high capability of computer, the intercourse platform of knowledge creativity and organizational creativity. It is a challenging task to adopt new theory, methodology and computational tools to solve problems of complex distance education. Therefore, based on the complexity science and metasynthesis methodology, the emergence of collective intelligence in distance education system is studied by the inter-response embodied in the contents of interactions among users. Algorithm tools, i.e. link structure and attributed directed graph have been developed to distill the emergence of collective wisdom on some topic.
