Abstract :
This paper describes a fully digital controlled switching mode DC-DC converter based on digital V2 control algorithm. V2 control in analog or digital realization can provide faster transient response compare to the conventional voltage or current-mode control. However, the reported digital V2 control scheme suffers from steady state oscillation problem. In this paper, we proposed a new digital V2 control algorithm to reduce the steady state oscillation by means of analysis in the time domain. With the new control algorithm, the load and line regulation is improved. Simulation results of the proposed digital V2 DC-DC converter meet all the design specifications thereby verifying our theoretical analysis.
