Abstract :
Confucian education thought with a history of 2000 years has the biggest influence on China´s present education. And with the social progress, the traditional education is affronted with a profound change. In vocational education, the action-oriented teaching which originates from constructivism theory of education is now applied into practice actively. In this paper, the author makes a comparison between Chinese and Western culture on their differences and common grounds, and suggests to explore the Chinese-style action-oriented teaching that integrates these two teachings into one.
