Abstract :
This paper introduces the computer control system of a film coating production line. It consists of two subsystem: one is driving control subsystem, the other is coating and drying control subsystem. The driving control subsystem includes 15 driving points. A line speed master driving motor and a tension master driving motor are arranged, they provide the speed synchronous signals and the tension synchronous signals to other driving points. The master driving motors are controlled by a digital analog mixed control system. The coating and drying control subsystem uses the MICRO MAX distributed control system. This subsystem controls 12 coating flow control loops, 17 temperature control loops, and 6 moisture control loops. The computer control system of the film coating production line has been in operation for about two years. It has greatly increased both the control and management levels of film production and the quantity and quality of films
