Abstract :
Rational location of logistics distribution center can reduce costs of transportation, operation and construction. In the research on location of practical logistics distribution centers, the accurate algorithms can not used for solution in general, so the heuristic methods such as genetic algorithm should be adapted. Based on construction of logistics distribution center location model, the paper improved on simple genetic algorithm with best conserving and no-replacing residue stochastic choose strategies. The solution to material location example of logistics distribution center was also provided. The example analysis indicates that it is more effective to improve the selection operator with the combination of best conserving and no-replacing residue stochastic choose strategies.
