Abstract
An overall view of past, present and proposed wireless space power transmission projects is presented. Activities in the United States, Canada, France, the former Soviet Union and Japan are highlighted. The recent Japan-US space-to-space wireless power transmission demonstration ISYMETS is described as are the 1995 demonstrations of wireless power transmission systems in Kyoto, Japan, at the WPT 95 conference
