Abstract :
The localization and detection of scatters in imaging and other applications often requires, as a prerequisite for further actions, the estimation of the directions of arrival of electromagnetic signals. In this paper, a new approach is proposed, in which a support vector regression is used. Accurate estimations are obtained, in particular when the electromagnetic coupling between the antenna elements is fully taken into account.
