Abstract :
Analysing the tremendous harm geological hazards to human survival, this paper evaluates objectively the geological environment feature and the distribution of geological hazards in Yulin city. The main geological hazards in this area are landslides, avalanches, debris flow, ground subsidence etc. Inducing factors of geological disasters can be divided into natural and human factors, and human factors has the great impact on the development of geological disasters in this area. According to the geological environment features and the distribution of geological hazard, this paper proposes the prevention and control measures of the geological hazards in Yulin area. They are to build and complete the monitoring system gradually, to increase the level of propaganda and training, improve people´s awareness of disaster prevention and management.
