Abstract :
Rationality of city fire station layout is a hot issue in fire researches. On the basis of the method of fire station layout, the concept of equivalent travel time is put forward in this paper. Through arrival time data are extracted using Data Mining technology in FARDMS, rational judging method of fire station layout is established. Taking jurisdiction squadrons of Chongqing as an example, the method is verified. Studies show that the method is simple and reliable and evaluation results are consistent with the reality. So it will not only provide a feasible idea to judge rationality of fire station layout for built-up area, but also provide references to planning and construction fire stations in the future.
