Abstract :
Through the use of measured feed network port excitations and accurate array simulations we have demonstrated that the concept of driving a large hexagonal array with a two-dimensional stack of planar Rotman lenses is capable of producing high directivity, dual-polarized beams over a wide frequency band. This concept is suitable for producing a large number of overlapping beams with frequency invariant pointing.
