            Abstract :
For a dense circular array of electric dipoles, the simultaneous maximization of the signal-to-noise ratio and the minimization of the quality factor has been carried out. The minimal points for this problem, forming the trade-off curve, have been computed by a combination of the modified Polak method, the BFGS method with line search and the penalty method.
