Abstract :
By using a surface potential meter with vibrating capacitance probe, some surface charging characteristic of cross linked polystyrene, such as surface charging properties under applied DC voltage, and surface charging properties under 100 ns/1.15 mus pulse without flashover, and surface charging properties under 15 ns/1 mus pulse with flashover, and influence on the flashover after injecting some charges, are all investigated in this paper.
