Abstract :
In this paper, some key factors of the insulation design of DC cable relating to its electric field intensity distribution, insulation characteristics and selection of insulation material etc. was researched. The DC cable characteristics relation between insulation resistivity and temperature, especially effect of space charge electric field intensity on the insulation design and selection of semiconductor interfaces and insulation material was discussed.
