Abstract :
This paper studied several factors on reclaimed water disinfection through static experiments, and the factors included ammonia nitrogen, COD, total coliform, contact time and disinfectant dosage. The results showed ammonia nitrogen concentration and total coliform number were the main factors. Under the same disinfectant dosage, after 30 minutes reaction time, the total chlorine concentration in the reclaimed water decreased at first, and then increased, and it had linear correlation with the COD concentration. Under the conditions of the same initial ammonia nitrogen concentration and different disinfectant dosage, the total chlorine concentration in reclaimed water showed the tendency of initial increase, later decline and at last gradual increase. Also it decreased as the reaction time prolonged, the total chlorine had continuous disinfection effect, during which the disinfection effect was mainly affected by the total coliform.
