Abstract :
We present Monte-Carlo simulation results demonstrating feasibility of unretimed serial 56 Gb/s host ASIC-to-ASIC transmission based on DMT modulation. The model includes a 6 bit DAC/ADC, CEI-28G-VSR electrical channel, and 25G-class DFB transmitter.
