Abstract
The synthesis of heteropoly compounds and preparation of the heteropoly acid zinc salt as photo-catalyst, and their characterizations are studied by IR, SEM. The dye wastewater (crystal violet) is investigated with the catalysts prepared under visible light for photocatalytic decoloration and degradation. The results showed that, the Zn-heteropoly salt prepared by solgel method as photocatalyst can crystal violet degradation very well in visible light. The efficiencies of photodegradation of the catalyst and oxidant dosage, as well as additive are closely related. The easy recovery of catalyst has a good reproducibility. It is energy saving and important to environmental protection. The application of them is promising.
