Abstract :
During the "white Plus black" reform on the old cement concrete pavement, the stress concentration occurs at the seams beneath the asphalt layer bottom under the loading. Adopting appropriate measures to relieve stress is the key to successful reform. Using ABAQUS finite element software, the analysis is taken to reflect the changing rules on the stress and deflection of asphalt overlay bottom in various factors under the eccentric load. The theoretical basis is put forward for choosing the ideal preventive measures and optimum laid schemes.
