Abstract :
The current paper proposes a newer approach of biomedical watermarking technique which combines frequency domain watermarking with cryptography. The proposed methodology can embed EPR in the cover image by discrete cosine transform watermarking and RSA algorithm of cryptography. Here EPR includes patient´s name, doctor´s diagnosis and also the infected region which to be treated. The ROI of infected region is detected through a combination of region growing and contour detection algorithm. The technique can retrieve all the embedded information exactly same even from several attacked image. A number of image quality matrices are also used to explain the strength and successfulness of the proposed Crypto-Watermarking technique both visually and statistically.
