Abstract
Based on Mentor EDA schematic simulation software and Chartered 0.35 ¿n CMOS technology, A broadband Transimpedance amplifier was designed on the use of the inductance increasing bandwidth technique in the application of a shunt peaking amplifier, The 3.3V single voltage source was adopted in the design and the simulation results show that the transimpedance gain is 65.7 dB¿ ,the 3dB bandwidth is 3.1GHz, the power dissipation is 53mW,the input referred noise current density is 4.1 pA/¿HZ, and it can work at the data transmission speed of 3.5Gb/s.
