Abstract :
The study of the time-space variability of the atmospheric inversion layer N has been studied by making daily (0,6,12 and 18 hrs) aerological radio sonde observations of the 0-300 m layer at far-eastern sub-arctic stations from 1984 to 1986. The height of the lower border H i, thickness ΔH and intensity ΔN are regarded as the main radio meteorological parameters characterizing layer inhomogeneity in the troposphere. The study of the vertical profiles of refraction index was implemented in DBSC Microsoft FoxPro medium. Values are presented of the main characteristics of layer inhomogeneity of the far-eastern troposphere in the middle months of seasons. The maximum number of inhomogeneity N is located in the layer from 1 to 2 km. In a cold season more anomalies in profiles N are observed and in higher layers of the atmosphere. Seasonal variations of the lower border height at Anadyr and Magadan stations have two maximums (spring and autumn) and two minima (winter and summer). Sesonal range Hi at Markovo station has the major maximum in winter and the second maximum in summer, as well as minimums in spring and autumn. At Gyzhiga and Korf stations one minimum of seasonal range Hi is observed in summer and one maximum in winter. In the warm period vertical profile anomalies N are registered at small heights: from 184 m at Korf station to 1240 m at Gyzhiga station
