Abstract :
With the development of computer and network technology, virtual reality technology had a huge role and impact in the fields of education. Three-dimensional(3D) virtual learning environment to achieve scenario experiential teaching modes is present. It places the students in a spatial dimension, provides enhanced interactivity and allows for synchronous communication. In order to achieve the new Second Life 3D virtual teaching and learning environment, a practical, English teaching, project-based virtual environment is implemented. Features, composition, and the realization method of this 3D virtual learning environment for language learning are introduced. This scenario experiential modes of teaching is applied not only to actual teaching, but also to the 3D virtual learning environment, thus provides a reference for the future of teaching exploration.
