Abstract :
Leaf characteristics, including chlorophyll a content and spectral optical properties, were examined in boreal forest foliage over the growing season during the 1994 BOReal Ecosystem-Atmosphere Study (BOREAS) conducted in Saskatchewan, Canada. We present the results for two deciduous broadleaf species associated with aspen stands: aspen (Populus tremuloides) and hazelnut (Corylus cornata Marsh)
