Abstract :
In this paper the need of development of software tools for sizing and analysis the behaviour of buildings with installed distributed generators and energy storage system is analysed. This kind of tools are vital for the correct selection of the Store and Generation Mix in the future nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEBs). The paper also presents a software tool developed by the authors for this purpose. The capabilities of this tool are described, and the inputs, outputs and assumptions are summarised.
