Abstract :
Advances in semiconductor technologies and wireless communication have contributed to the rapid growth of the mobile device market. Battery powered mobile devices have a large number of applicatios, and all of them depend on their battery lifetime. Therefore we propose in this paper a new type of benchmark that can be used to profile power consumption of battery-powered devices running different applications.
