Abstract
This paper researches and analyses the issues of the environment on residential districts of Guangzhou city, using statistics and questionnaires of interviews to study the impact of FAR on environmental quality. It points out the environmental problems in the current residential districts, reflects on the weaknesses of the residential districts disengagement from the city space, and puts forward advice and strategies on spatial integration.
