Abstract :
This paper introduces the new class of random processes, - the class of periodically correlated random processes with probabilistic descriptions, functionally dependent within a period. It presents the examples of signals (gas consumption, ambient temperature, considered within comparatively prolonged time intervals, - a season, year), which can be described by using this class of processes. Some applied problems have been considered, with their solutions being based on these processes.
