Abstract :
The method of abnormal process forecasting in the pulse energy conversion system dynamics is offered and studied in the paper. This method is based on the use of the geometrical and symbolic interpretations of the quality peculiarities, which are typical for the phase trajectory structures of periodic processes and transients. The peculiarities are stipulated by the physical essence of the pulse-width modulation process and transient convergence towards a limit cycle structure. With the purpose of the method realization the output signal transformation into the form of the special synchronous time series is carried out. The synchronous time series point to the both limit cycle structures, near which the running phase trajectory crosses, and distance to these structures. Correspondingly, forecasting consists in real-time uninterrupted analysis of the running system state regarding the nearest limit cycle structure.
