Abstract :
This paper presents a single chip which has been designed and implemented for the ATSC-VSB terrestrial receiver and the OpenCableTM digital set-top terminal. It employs all-digital synchronization scheme for common VSB/QAM demodulation, and has a built-in QPSK modem for bi-directional cable signaling
