Abstract
The problem of electromagnetic scattering by a partially buried conducting sphere in a ground plane has been solved analytically by using an iterative boundary condition procedure. The advantage of using the proposed method is that of handling each iteration separately and then summing over all previous iterations to obtain the total scattered field. Another potential advantage is that of saving computer time and memory by avoiding inversion of the system matrix.
