Abstract :
Project management is frequently cited as an important management strategy for software development and other product development activities. Articles and textbooks are readily available to help managers to understand the essentials of project management technique, but most publications emphasize the logic of project management or the manipulation of the software that supports decision making in project management. Few publications address the context and human relations of project management. The author offers a basic introduction and some insights to better technique that supplement the usual presentation. He particularly emphasizes some considerations that increase employee motivation and enhance managerial effectiveness
